Your platform does not have to be the size of Disney and you don’t have to be a famous personality with a million followers on twitter.

But you want to have a platform that will allow you to reach your customers as well as new potential customers, when you roll out a new promotion, product, or service.

You want to be your own conglomerate.

Opt in lists are informal and brief. They are full of tips, etc. and have limited period offers. Normally, opt in lists are mailed when something new is to be introduced or to tell its users that a particular offer is available only for the next 48hrs or 72hrs or something like that.

So you can probably see how easy it is for people to fall victim to the hyped up ‘sales pitch’ of starting an online business and travel the world and cash will just pump out of your computer like an ATM machine.

Am I saying that the thought of having a ‘Portable Empire’ is hyped up wishful thinking…?

No…Absolutely Not!

I know ‘Portable Empires’ exist, in fact I encourage people to build online business that allow them the benefits of having one.

What I’m saying is that the so-called “Gurus” who pitch this never teach

your success online will be determined by the body of work you put together. And that may include multiple ebooks and other types of digital products.

And there is a learning curve that has to take place before you feel comfortable with putting out you own ‘Cash-Producing’ ebooks.

I have mentioned that affiliate marketing is the fastest and easiest way to make money online and most people who consider trying to make money on the Internet end up gravitating toward affiliate marketing.

Affiliate Marketing is a great way to generate income online, but if you want a long term business you’ll need your own products that you control and sell.

The average person that comes in contact with the opportunity to make money online is really only looking to make an extra $5,000 or $10,000 for the year.

And the right online business can do that for them.

But they are blindsided by quick talkers trying to get them to sign up for the next hot fad or trend that promises instant riches.

I realize that there are many who are so new to ‘Affiliate Marketing’ that they are not able to take advantage of the opportunity to make money from products or services that they don’t have to create or make.

So I have a report that I put together some time ago to help those that are new to ‘Affiliate Marketing’ to get a grasp of the business and take advantage of the fastest and easiest way to make money online.

In my opinion if you want to build a business that last for awhile and that you can possibly sell or pass on to your children, you have to have some passion for that business.

So you’ll have to align yourself with products, services, and people that reinforce your passion.

Very popular and high traffic blogs can charge anywhere from $250 to $1,000 per month for a sponsorship ad. If the ads on my blog were being sponsored by other businesses you could easily see how just the right column could produce between $1,250 to $6,000 a month.
