Historic Tele-Summit
Unemployment numbers are at levels not seen in over 25 years. That’s over a generation!
Job creation by major corporations is non-existent. In fact, the opposite is true, they are laying off employees at record numbers.
The ‘Black Unemployment’ rate is the worse PERIOD! And what really makes it bad is that there is no discussion about ‘Black Unemployment’ and a solution…until now!

It is enlightening to hear a discussion on Black unemployment. Our conversation around the dinner table needs to center more on self-reliance then on working within corporate america. There are many examples of Black men and women going to work for companies where they will never have the opportunity to truly shine or rise within the ranks. Right now I am encouraging my niece who is in college to continue her business on the side and not to look toward working for corporate amer. when she graduates. Already she is networking with Black owned companies and building relationships. The generation that reared me was more concerned with have so-called benefits, pension/retirement and a safety net. That mentality needs to and will change with discussions such as your and people who insist on a paradigm shift in thought and behavior.
I am very excited about this conference call. I know that for many there is want to become an Enterpreneur, a successful enterprenuer but the imagination to see beyond the thoughts of doubt, fear and limitations has not yet been activated. However we must press on for the good of the whole and towards the liberation of the many.
I am all for it, please visit us at http://www.mmtidc.org, let us know how we can be a part of this, I will not be able to watch at 8pm, I hope it can be replayed later.
Thanks

I did not catch the date and time of the tele-summit. I agree 100% that the answer to black unemployment is black entreprenuership, period. I can address the fact that you don’t have a job if I am the position to offer you one.
I personally, have a business that builds black businesses that will have an incredible economic impact on our black financial state and effects every business category including most e-business. I hope to get help with it, yes I am reaching out.

Yes I agree with Regina’s commit that “The generation that reared me was more concerned with have so-called benefits,
pension /retirement and a safety net.” However if we are going to choose the route of entreprenuership we need to get our financial house in order. Our BANKING industry is in shambles we don’t even have a international bank. Remember what just happen to the U.S. economy with out the banking industry just about every thing was on the verge of collapse. If we are going to truly expand and lean toward entreprenuership we must strengthen and expand our BANKING industry.
Excellent forum – not like any onther call/ webinar that I’ve been on…
The combination of spiritual & practical was priceless!
The call in its entirety was priceless!
Please offer again, I sympathize with anyone who did not join in!
As I work with my clients, preparing and positioning them for Gov’t Contracts and Grants, I constantly give them information and guidance. Tonight’s Historic Tele-Summit was for ME! The panelists were excellent (let us know how George is doing), the examples were relevant, the information was extremely timely and practical. It confirmed the direction that my company is going and gave me more jewels to pass along to my clients. Bro. Bedford, you were great! When is the next call?
P.S. You all shared about the technician vs. the entrepreneur, implementing systems and processes…an excellent resource is the book the e-Myth Revisited.
This was a FABULOUS call. Of course, I would not expect any less from you. The information that was shared was practical, timely, and useful. The fact that the call was free still amazes me. Thank you for all that you are doing for our community! I look forward to participating in future events.
I’ve just had the opportunity to listen to the playback from the Historic TeleSummit. Bro. Bedford continues to be a “connect the dots” individual; collaborating with intelligent and thought provoking experts while drawing a real picture for those aspiring to be entrepreneurs. I was blessed by William Patterson, Gerry Foster and Bro. Bedford and I have not hesitated in forwarding on the link to the call for others to be blessed as well. Very Empowering and Very Needed!!! Thank you Gentlemen for sharing.
Although I registed for the call tomorrow I will not be able to listen in due to previous commitment, but I look forward to getting involved. One of the most serious challenges that African American entreprueners face is legal issues with goverment contracting. This ongoing threat wipes out as many small black owned firm than we can create.
I would hope that some consideration is given to this national attack on black businesses who often give up instead of fighting back.
Respectfully,
James Brady
PS: Thank you for your leadership!
